Instead of running the local hourly clock across all of that, we quote long distance jobs based on distance, volume, and access at both ends.
What we need to quote a long distance move

How long distance moving day works
Loading happens on one day, the drive covers the distance in between, and delivery happens on a window we confirm with you rather than an exact same-day slot the way a local move can offer. We coordinate access at the destination ahead of time - building rules, parking, elevator booking if it's a condo - so the delivery end goes as smoothly as the pickup.
Packing and protection for the road
Packing materials are supplied, and items travelling further get extra wrapping and padding beyond what a short local move needs. The heavy item policy is unchanged by distance: a piano, a safe, a pool table, or other oversized furniture over 250 lbs carries a confirmed extra charge, agreed before booking.
