Availability depends on the calendar. Some days we have a crew open on short notice, some days we are fully booked. Anyone who guarantees same-day movers without checking a calendar first is telling you what you want to hear, not what is true. What Speeds Up a Short-Notice Booking

The faster you can answer a few questions, the faster we can confirm a crew. Have this ready before you call:

• Move date and earliest possible time
• Pickup and drop-off addresses, including floor and elevator or stairs
• A rough sense of what's moving: studio, one bedroom, a few large items
• Whether anything heavy needs moving, a piano, a safe, oversized furniture

What to Have Ready if We Can Take the Job

If a crew is available, the move itself still runs on the standard 3 hour minimum at $165 per hour with a 2 person crew. Boxes closed, furniture cleared of loose items, and a clear path to the door make the biggest difference on a rushed move. Skipping packing to save time almost never works out, it just moves the delay from before the move to during it.

When Same-Day Isn't Possible

If the calendar is full, we will tell you that directly and help you find the next available slot instead of stringing you along. A move booked a day or two out with everything ready usually goes smoother than a same-day scramble anyway.
