Bed frames, dining tables, sectional couches and shelving units often need to come apart to get through a door or down a stairwell. Our crew disassembles and reassembles this kind of furniture as part of the move. Tell us ahead of time about anything unusual, a wall unit, a custom piece, so we bring the right tools.
Heavy Item Policy
Most furniture moves at the standard rate with no extra charge. The exception is items over 250 lbs, a piano, a safe, a pool table, or oversized furniture. Those need extra hands, sometimes extra equipment, and that charge is confirmed with you before booking, not sprung on you moving day. We do not guess or pad an estimate for a heavy item. We ask what it is, quote it honestly, and confirm it up front.

Extra Movers for Heavy or Large Loads
If a job needs more than the standard 2 person crew, whether that is a heavy item or just a lot of furniture on a tight timeline, extra movers are billed at $55 per hour. We will tell you upfront if your job needs a bigger crew.

Do you move single pieces of furniture, not a full house?
Yes. A single couch, table or bed frame is a normal booking for us, priced the same way as any other move.
Can you move a piano, safe, or pool table?
Yes. Items like these carry an extra charge because they need more hands and sometimes more equipment. That charge is confirmed with you before you book, never as a surprise on moving day.
Do you disassemble furniture that won't fit through a doorway?
Yes, disassembly and reassembly of bed frames, tables and similar furniture is part of the job. Let us know about anything unusual ahead of time.
What counts as a heavy item?
Anything over 250 pounds, including pianos, safes and pool tables, along with any oversized single piece of furniture. We confirm the exact charge before booking.
