Highway 7 connects our Richmond Hill base to Markham directly, so a crew starting the morning on Yonge Street is on site without a complicated route or a second highway change. That keeps arrival times predictable, which matters more than people expect on moving day.

What it costs, in plain numbers

The rate is $165 per hour for a 2-person crew, with a 3 hour minimum. An extra mover is $55 per hour if the job needs it. Same published rate whether the address is a heritage home in Unionville or a new townhouse in Box Grove.

Unionville's narrow driveways versus the new subdivisions

Unionville's older streets are beautiful and awkward for moving trucks in equal measure — narrow driveways, close-set houses, and sometimes no legal spot to park closer than half a block. Cornell and Box Grove are the opposite problem: wide streets and driveways, but newer builds mean more stairs to a main floor and, often, more boxes because the family hasn't pared down yet.

We ask about driveway width and parking before the day, not after the truck is already circling the block.

Milliken and Markham Centre

Milliken tends to be older bungalows and low-rise apartments, straightforward carries with manageable stairs. Markham Centre is the newer condo cluster, where the job runs on the building's elevator schedule rather than ours, so we confirm that window with property management before we lock in your time.

What's included, and the one add-on

Packing materials are supplied. The only extra charge is for heavy items over 250 lbs — a piano, a safe, a pool table, oversized furniture — agreed on before booking, never added after the fact.
